Nicholas Nicholas explains to Markham that Cardinal Mercier is coming to America to thank them for the aid and sympathy they have extended them the past 5 years. The Committee hopes it will be able to assutre the Cardinal the the fund have been completed for the building and equipment for the Library for the University of Louvain, (his Alma Mater) that was destroy during the invasion of Germany in 1914. Nicholas is the Chairman of the National Committee of The United States fotr the Restoration of the University of Louvain.
